    As a class leader I had the privilege to listen to every group present and give my input on their presentations. I felt like they all did a great job considering the fact that it was their first time presenting this semester. I want to start it off by saying how every group did such a great job. They took their time to search up and really look into their topics, teaching us about different topics that were completely new and different. Group 1 did an amazing job talking to us about "Intercultural Communications." They were all very well prepared and ready to teach us about their topic. Their topic is something we can all relate to. In life we all have different beliefs and different cultures. We also have different ways of being and that all falls in the topic of Intercultural Communications. We learn how we are all different in so many ways and how that is completely normal, we should all be accepting of one another and and show the same love and kindness you would want to be shown.Overall, I feel like I learned a lot from group 1. They were prepared and it shows that they took their time doing the project.








    Group 2 had "Communicating In Groups."Which is such an important topic because I believe we group and can function a lot better in groups. They gave us examples of groups like families, support groups and even sport teams. Those are all incredible groups to be around and socialize with. Nothing is better than having a support system and people you can talk to. They can encourage us and make us feel that safe space with them. We can even communicate virtually in places such as Instagram, Facebook, Zoom, Blackboard, and Whatsapp. All such useful places to talk to other people.  Group 2 did an amazing job at explaining and giving examples.





    Finally, Group 3 talked about "Leadership", which they did great in. In their presentation I learned how significantly important leadership is. We are very familiar with leadership since it is something we have always had in our lives. Whether it is a teacher or a parent or even the president. They all show us leadership qualities and we even got to learn what it takes to be a leader. It takes someone who will be with next to the people fighting with them instead of just watching them from a far. It takes a leader to takes risks and be great. Overall, every single group did an incredible job teaching us about their topics and I cannot wait for their next presentations, you can already tell they are great at presenting and teaching us. There are so many ways people can give public speeches and online is one of them now, which is a way we had to accommodate to and make it work and everyone so far has understood the assignment and done impressive work. I am sure the future presentations will be just as fantastic!

Reflections on the first presentation

  Since I was one of the leaders in this class, I had the advantage of seeing everyone else presenting and catching on their strategies. It seemed that all presenters were very comfortable on presenting and they rarely showed any sign on nervousness.  The most challenging aspect of these presentations was using meaningful multimedia.  It could also be very challenging when we have a lot to share but do not know how to properly deliver the message in a logical order.  While watching the recordings of these presentations, I was able to identify that this challenge was evident although presenters tried to hide it as they were speaking.  The most surprising aspect of their speech was that they effectively used their slides to support their message and doing it remotely.  This might have always been an easy thing, but because of Covid-19 it might have been a little harder for presenters, so it is a great aspect. Reflections on the informative presentations

 Observing speeches like an audience member, as a moderator, has been a helpful and interesting experience. Entering the class, I felt that I was already a rather strong public speaker. However, now I know better the many areas on which we need to pay attention to when developing this skill, this art. On analyzing all the work done by my classmates during this period, I have some points to examine.  The first group talked abo ut Music and its effects. They made an excellent use of multimedia when they showed us a video where we could see changes of music in time. We learn a great information about why music is so important in our lives. They also showed a strong research skill, bringing us updated facts.  To make things differently, the second group came out with a very unique and extremely important topic which was Space Exploration.
